Virginia Wineries and Camping

For our second year anniversary, Erin and I went wine tasting and camping! We pitched our tent in Sky Meadows State Park. The sky was littered with starts in this certified dark park. We saw a few shooting stars as well! I warn others, getting to the campsite is a 1 mile hike, with hungry bears along the way. To lessen the risk, I made sure to travel with someone slower than me. Whenever we go camping, we always try a local restraunt! This one in Marshall, VA gets a 5 star review from us!

Now onto the Wineries.. We visited 3! Check it out!

  1. Three Fix Vineyards & Brewery The views were great, and it was super fun to hang out between the grape vines used to make the wine.. pretty unique! They had very yummy pizza as well!

  2. Nokesville Winery This was a small family owned winery; Their wine was the best tasting of the three!

  3. Effingham Manor & Winery Big plus for having live music! It was also nice how large the place was, we could easy find a table away from the crowd, and have a moment.

We were playing a sorting game, 1 picture for each month we dated.
