Missing Mail? Local mailman fired

Richmond has a case of a lazy mailman, discovered to be Charlie Day. Instead of delivering mail on his route, Charlie was stamping them “Return To Sender.” No big deal? Local couple says otherwise, sharing their story:

“I had been sending my super hot boyfriend mail on every holiday for years… He just wasn’t getting them, even going as far as to accuse me of never writing him cards. He should’ve known I’m perfect!!”

As Richmond started to catch on, Charlie quietly transferred to the D.C. Post Office. To cover his tracks, he stole every card he had mis-stamped. The antics continued in D.C., until Detective Erin tracked him down, recovered her mail, and delivered it to Mike herself.

“My girlfriend just kept saying you didn’t get that one? you didn’t get that one? I quit believing her. But she was right. She always seems to be.”

Some of the missing mail is still being retrieved to this day..
