Caves, Peaks & College Town Streets. Our Weekend in Shenandoah Valley

shennadoah.JPEG

Curious how Erin and Mike travel? We were too! Here’s how they made the most of a weekend in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. We reached out to Mike, here’s what he had to say…

First Stop! Lurrary Caverns

It was cold down there! Luckily we had each other to keep us warm Caves

The formations in the cave were quite a spectacle.

One of our favorites was Dream Lake - it’s the largest body of water within a cavern, but even more noteworthy, the reflection of the stalactites off the water creates a crazy illusion. Caves

Next Stop, Harrisonburg!

We stopped at multiple breweries, getting a flight at each. There was an ongoing competition to see who could take the coolest photos with their beer.. a couple of top contenders..

After the breweries we went roller scating!! (I dont have any photos) Roller Scating

Finally, Shenadoah Sky Line Drive!

We went on a hike and luckily didn't get wet!!

There were super thin icycles all over the place!

As you can see, there’s plenty to do when in Shenandoah Valley!
